LEADERSHIP

Jeff Goldman | CEO & Founder | Octopean Media

JEFF GOLDMAN

President & Founder | Jeff Goldman is an entertainment executive with 25+ years of experience. Goldman’s expertise lies in strategically building companies that deliver large revenue through the utilization of brands and IPs. With a wealth of industry connections, Goldman specializes in maximizing growth by allocating hybrid areas of impact to internal and external parties.

Goldman began his career at the William Morris Agency before becoming the managing director of Eyeworks/Warner Brothers Worldwide Distribution, where he built a team that crafted and executed strategies to maximize distribution on over 200 TV series and films. As the managing director, Jeff and his team grew Eyeworks/WB Worldwide Distribution into the 4th largest global distributor.

Alongside integrating with Warner Brothers, Goldman was promoted to the Chief Business Officer of 3Ball Productions where he worked on monetizing additional revenue streams for all of its content. In this role, he negotiated deals with better revenue shares for the company, licensed IP as separate businesses, and created original ancillary revenue streams. Goldman was named one of MCN’s 40 Under 40 in recognition of his work at 3Ball.

Prior to starting Octopean, Goldman joined his former colleagues at Premiere Digital Services, heading up business development and distribution, focusing on expanding services for high-level content and developing his department. He oversaw partnerships with AVODS, SVODS, and TVODS as well as OTT platforms, Smart TVs, Digital Channels, and apps on a global scale.

Octopean was born from Goldman’s drive to create highly tailored approaches for IP, brands, and talent to maximize their earning potential through innovative strategy and partnerships.

 

LINDSEY SIRERA

EVO Business Development & Strategy | Lindsey Sirera is an entertainment executive who specializes in business development, production, brand integrations, and marketing. Most recently, Sirera worked with a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures to completely restructure and rebrand the company, launch an owned OTT service from the ground up, and develop and produce three original television series starring Academy Award-winning talent.

Sirera began her career at NBCUniversal, creating and developing content for E! Entertainment’s fashion, beauty and style vertical. She then moved to Time Inc. (now Meredith Corp.), where she developed online content, digital-first series, and pilots with brand partners including Microsoft, Olay, L’Oréal Paris, and Maybelline New York.

While working for Paramount Pictures Subsidiary, Sirera, amongst other projects, launched an OTT SVOD & TVOD platform available on all major platforms including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, iOS, and Android. What’s more, Sirera lead branding, marketing, and development efforts all the while spearheading multiple content productions.

 
Lindsey Sirera | Chief Business Officer | Octopean

BRIAN SIMPSON

Director of Business Development | Brian Simpson is an entertainment executive who has spent his career specializing in business development, brand development and marketing, strategic partnerships, and integrated marketing.

Simpson began his career in the traditional film and television sector of entertainment at both Innovative Artists Talent Agency and then Anonymous Content, focusing on talent representation and production development. He then was recruited as an agent to Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in their sports division. As an agent at CAA and the Head of Marketing, Partnerships, and Sponsorships Sales for the Combat Sports division, he ran brand partnerships for talent in the division as well as sponsorship sales, marketing, licensing agreements, and consulting for the major promotions like Top Rank Boxing, Professional Fighters League, and DAZN. Simpson was the first to leverage advertising technology to help leverage their talents’ first-party data on social media and run programmatic marketing for their brand partners as well as to scale at the organizational level. He led the launch of the first athlete NFT for CAA Sports and only the 3rd overall athlete launch across all sports in March 2021 which broke records at the time of release and is still the most successful launch from CAA. Working with the CAA Global Partnerships and Sales team, Simpson worked on sponsorship/marketing projects across the wider sports and entertainment landscape, such as the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Paris Saint-Germain Football, and the Tribeca Film Festival, among others.

Before joining Octopean, Simpson consulted on sponsorships sales, integrated marketing and business development for multiple sports organizations and live events such as Idol Roc’s Music Tours, the Professional Fighters League, RFK Racing, BOXXER, and BIG3 basketball.
